Dear Austin

You are the most pure and happiest baby right now. Your smile so lights up your mothers and my life. I look at you and wonder how I keep you fresh and pure and free of the negativity this world will place on you. The stresses of life could get to you but for now I want you to keep that smile of yours glowing. You are almost 6 months now. You laugh as you watch Franklin the turtle and blues clues. You laugh when you and I play peek a boo. You laugh when mommy smells your feet and tells you they stink. You laugh at everything. Austin everyone loves you so much. You have brought so much joy and love to this family. We will have to work very hard so that you are not spoiled. Keep that spirited attitude about yourself. Laughter and Humor can conquer most of life's challenges. Never take life that seriously. All that will matter in life is your family, health and happiness. Those things in life are free and should always mean the most. Austin please... have a pet, sing in the shower, play practical jokes, run in the rain, cover up with a warm blanket out of the dryer, sunsets and sunrises are great moments, breathe deep, stay up late, sleep in, have a snow ball fight with your kids, watch reruns, hug people, look them in the eye, smile and be happy.
