Dear Austin,

It's October 31st, 2008! You just woke up! It's the third time since 9:15pm that you have woke up. It is now 1:20am. You don't sleep well. You are a very light sleeper. You seem to just want the comfort from one of us. Your mom and I are up late conversing and watching ER on Tivo. We all are on a weird schedule around here.
Your mommy and I talked tonite and I have decided to start writing you letters. We looked on my blog tonite that I started. It never got off the ground but when we looked at the date I started it we knew it was meant to be. On August 7, 2007 I started my blog and one year to the day you came into my life. So much passed in that year till you were born and now you are 12 weeks old. I have thought of you, talked to you and there is so much said that I want you to know later. So son, these letters are my gift to you. My love in words. One day you can print them, read them and hopefully cherish them. Sleep well tonite Austin, I love you!
